R&G Premium Hot Heated Motorcycle Grips for 22mm 7/8 Handlebars / Clipons

Suitable for 22mm (7/8 inch) diameter handlebars / clipons which are 124mm (4.9inches) long.

R&G Premium Heated grips add months to your motorcycling season and comfort to almost any ride, with easy to install electronics wiring and 5 heat setting adjustments you can optimize the heat output to suit your needs.

In only 3 minutes the grips heat up to 35°C (95°F) and on those really cold days, increase the heat setting (using the easy to use control box) to get warmth up to a toasty 60°C (140°F). Left grips will always be cooler initially as it is direct to bar so takes a little longer to heat.

Includes fused, pre-terminated wiring harness for connection to your motorcycle battery or switched live circuit. Maximum power consumption for these heated grips is 4.0 amps per pair (48 watts). This is a 12v product - low capacity bikes 50cc -125cc may not cope with the output of 4amps, please only buy if you're sure your bike will manage.

For optimum performance of the grip it is recommend to install them using R&G grip glue (available separately) and sealing the open bar ends the supplied plug caps or with R&G Bar End Sliders.

Do not twist or cut more than 5mm off the grip - Open ended grips 124mm long +/- 1mm to fit with most bar ends. Not suitable for throttle tubes that have knocks or raised areas. As a universal product some minor modifications or depending on how you fit some small additional electrical connections or wire maybe required separately. No two bikes are the same so please accept some effort may be required to make it fit as you like.

Please test the function and 5 heat settings before fitting. The lower heat settings works after use on the highest setting with bike engine running only. The heat produced on lower settings it to maintain and may not be felt if you have not pre-heated the grips.
